J.R.S.O MEANS
Junior Road Safety Officer
Hi I’m a J.R.S.O and I want to tell you about road safety but in a fun and interactive way.

If you look to the right you’ll see the J.R.S.O Side
The theme for the next months is:
Green cross code!!
It’s getting darker at nights now so we recommend you to wear the following:
Always make sure you can be easily seen when walking or riding, particularly on dark days, in bad weather and at night.
Always wear bright or fluorescent clothes during the day, especially in dull or misty weather. (Remember that fluorescent clothing doesn’t really work after dark).
Use reflective materials at night, as these will show up in the car headlights. Reflective strips can be put on clothing, bags, shoes and other equipment.
OurĀ advice:
You must not cycle at night without first ensuring that your bicycle has a working white front light, red back light and a red reflector, all of which must always be kept clean. (It is an offence to cycle at night without these).
Always cross the road at the safest places, like zebra, pelican, and puffin crossings, and if none of these are available always make sure you cross by street lighting or at a place that is well-lit , so that drivers can see you.
Always use the Green Cross Code .
Leave a response and help improve reader response. All your responses matter, so say whatever you want. But please refrain from spamming and shameless plugs, as well as excessive use of vulgar language.
